The RRW Program has all inclusive budgets. The budgets are based on actual costs from past teams within actual age groups. The Budgets are based on 17 and 20 Player Rosters for Full-Season Teams and 20 player rosters for Split-Season Teams. All RRW Split-Season teams will carry a 20 player roster.
It is the RRW philosophy that a 20 player roster allows for a higher level development.
A larger variety of drills used at the highest levels are implemented. There is little effect if injury or illness arises during the season. Players are trained to give a 100% effort at all times. Ultimately shorter more effective shifts are realized. The focus of the RRW program is to maintain a higher level of development both off-season and throughout the season.
A 20 player roster helps to increase the effectiveness of this philosophy. The RRW budget is an all inclusive off-season and in-season maintenance budget. The most important expense in the budget and most often overlooked in other programs is the off-season training that includes ice sessions. This pre-fundraising budget in effect is the budget that will be followed. The only variance would be if the whole team is in agreement to add additional expenses if needed. The only item that is not accounted for is the practice and game actual traveling costs incurred.
